feels weird to be home. no more movement, no more traveling in planes, 4WDs, ships, buses or trains! am sick of airports and cattle class. 4 planes just to get home. bad air, bad food and bad posture for 29h. worst part of entire process was wearing a face mask...and smelling own bad breath cos never brush teeth during whole duration. eee.
dreading the photo-sorting / -editing process. camera died 2 days into the trip. mother's friend had extra point and shoot (thank goodness!). good news: will finally be able to get a new camera! bad news: will miss this good old camera.
excellent news: due to constant movement and 4am mornings during 25-day tour, every person has lost weight!!!! even after 3 fantastic meals a day, buffet breakfasts and snacking. south american food is deadly in the high-carb, high-protein, high-fat, high-caloric way -- you'll see when i'm done with the photos.
