lunch at mykii before drama syf at acjc

prawn casserole in spicy tomato with kaffir leaf pilaf. ("Mouth-wateringly large prawns prepared the Mediterranean style, complete with kaffir leaf rice. Sweet, saucy and spicy. Sure to bowl you over with its unique flavour.") $15.90??

eh wait. what prawns? some sliced tomatoes and grilled zucchini under a glob of canned tomato paste. major ripoff. do not order this. thank goodness for HSBC 1-for-1 dining perks.

penne with ground pork sausage meat. ("Topped with mushrooms and meat from German sausages, this pretty, pink tomato sauce pasta is just so hard to resist.")

i liked this one better. the pasta sauce was leaning towards a tomato-cream mix. perhaps i am just partial to meat and not so much towards Bad Prawn Rice Thingys. $13.90?
